We are looking for seasoned and entry level candidates that are interested in working for a great company with opportunities to grow, competitive pay and benefits.BenefitsFree medical (one plan) and other medical plan optionsDental, vision, life insurance and other voluntary benefit options.$1,000 Employee Referral Bonus3 weeks' vacation and 11 paid holidays401K including company matching and profit sharingOpportunities for advancementComprehensive trainingTuition Reimbursement and more!SummaryThis position provides accurate and timely information to department management to aid in review of financial results.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Daily tasks could include any of the following:Reconcile daily cash activity by applying customer payments, preparing journal entries, and verifying accounts payable transactions.Prepare daily cash forecast for upper management.Approve sales opportunities within Salesforce and work closely with CarnoSyn sales team to ensure smooth flow of business activities.Invoice customers, monitor AR accounts, make collections calls as needed and prepare sales reports as needed.Process intercompany transactions and reconcile all intercompany relationships.Create and maintain customer data files, including credit limits.Assist in the preparation of financial statements.Maintain and monitor fixed assets in the general ledger and in the SAGE FAS system for all entities.Prepare and monitor monthly account reconciliations of AR, Cash, and other assigned accounts to ensure compliance with SOX and internal control policies.Prepare and enter the journal entries for Co 500 CarnoSyn – Beta-Alanine.Assist AP department with AP Email Inbox and UIR and Registered Invoices maintenance.Perform month-end activities including but not limited to journal entries and account reconciliations for Company 500, Carnosyn.Prepare and reconcile California Sales Tax for monthly and quarterly payment.Assist Company 100 accountant as needed with overflow.QualificationsBS or BA degree in accounting or equivalent experience.Baan ERP or other major ERP system experience.At least two years of previous experience in an accounting department with general ledger experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly accurate data analysis and intermediate to advanced excel skills.Must demonstrate good communication skills and be able to work well as a team member with all departments within the company.Excellent time management and organization skills.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of company sensitive and proprietary information is also required.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; talk and hear.
