Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required; weekdays flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Medical/Surgical unit with day shift ratios of 5–6:1
• Perform IV and Foley catheter placement as routine unit procedures
• Utilize equipment including Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Telehealth, Virtual Sitter, and remote telemetry systems
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including BSSR protocols and hourly rounding
• Float between Medical/Surgical units as needed per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment skills with demonstrated experience using IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Ability to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
• Prior experience with remote telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
