Role Overview Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) – responsible for interacting with customers, processing sales, loans, and extensions, and maintaining a welcoming, courteous environment. Career Path and Compensation Start as a Trainee in a 5‑week paid training program. Earn a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Advance to the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hour, and continue to progress toward Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), Store Manager in Training, and Store Manager positions, each with a structured training program. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and interacting in person and by phone. Process sales, loans, and extensions accurately. Perform opening and closing store duties. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Customer service, cashier, or retail experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong multitasking ability. Pass a criminal background check and drug test. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus. Sales background is a plus. Bilingual is a plus.
