Position Summary Cat Scan Technologist/IV Cert – Manhattan, Cancer Center. The successful candidate will perform medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures, administer IV contrast, and maintain highest imaging quality. Job Responsibilities Perform CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and interpret images with accuracy. Administer IV contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and follow protocol. Operate CT scanner equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control. Document examination data in RIS, confirm orders, and coordinate with medical staff. Maintain radiation safety practices, use shielding, and limit patient exposure. Assist in technical orientation of cross-trained technologists and provide patient comfort throughout procedures. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Registered Radiologic Technologist – New York State license (ARRT). Basic Life Support Certification (BLS). IV Contrast certification within 3 months of employment. Required Licenses Radiologic Tech Lic – NYS, Am Registry Of Radiologic Tech Preferred Qualifications Minimum two years experience in CT.
