Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2520 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity RN - Med Surg/Tele Job Details 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a mandatory 30-minute punch-out break Every other weekend and holiday requirements Department: Med Surg RN 4th Floor 30-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4-6 patients on days and 5-6 patients on nights, occasionally up to 7 at night Nurse aide ratio of 1:10 Common diagnoses include post-op knee, hip, shoulder, thyroidectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, as well as medical patients with HTN, HF, Pneumonia, COPD, AMS, TIA, DM, Sepsis, UTI, and AKI Titrating drips is rare; common drips include Heparin and PCAs RT equipment includes CPAP (home settings at night) and BiPAP (rare) Telemetry monitoring supported by central monitor and tele techs; RNs are not required to read and interpret tele strips independently Charge RN takes an assignment, sometimes full and sometimes modified Floating required to like units; may float as a CNA to IMC, ICU, or ED Navy blue scrubs required 3-day unit orientation for agency staff; first day includes computer-based training with shadowing if completed early Charting system: Cerner Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience required Required certification: BLS (AHA) No on-call or standby requirement All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility Facility This acute care medical center provides comprehensive inpatient services across multiple specialties, including medical-surgical and telemetry care.
