Medical Doctor/Physician for Clinical Research

Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Medical City Children’s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join its growing cardiac critical care team of eleven physicians and eight nurse practitioners. The successful candidate will join a team that provides 24/7 in-house comprehensive care for critically ill neonates, infants, children, and adult congenital cardiac patients in a high-acuity CICU environment while contributing to program development, quality improvement, education, and clinical innovation. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) ~ Unrestricted Texas medical license ~ Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine ~ Completion of advanced training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, or dual training in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine ~ Demonstrated commitment to excellence in cardiac critical care delivery, multidisciplinary collaboration, and program growth with interest in clinical research, outcomes research, quality improvement, and/or education ~3+ years of post-training experience, although exceptional early-career candidates will be considered 250+ congenital cardiac surgical cases annually (pediatric/adult) ~ Maternal Fetal Institute (MFI) and fetal intervention/surgery capabilities ~ Growing Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) program In addition to unmatched potential for flexibility and career growth and a competitive salary with incentives, a comprehensive benefits program is available for full-time colleagues.
