This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, heavy equipment, and related vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a small team to complete high-quality repairs and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and vehiclesDiagnose and repair mechanical issuesConduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtimeDocument maintenance and repair workCollaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of workFollow all safety procedures and report any concernsMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform additional duties as neededBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOngoing technical trainingStable, growing industryQualifications:3+ years of diesel technician experience (not entry-level)Strong experience with diesel engines, including valve and cylinder workWelding experience (experience accepted in lieu of certification(s))Ability to use heavy hand and power tools effectively/efficientlyExperience with diagnostic and testing equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable working/thriving in a small team environmentAbility to work independently when neededComfortable in a manufacturing/shop environment (heat, cold, noise, etc.)Strong problem-solving and communication skills
