Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design for education, healthcare, commercial, and community-focused building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project leadership skills, and experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC/mechanical design from concept through construction administration.
• Develop and review drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Perform heating/cooling load and ventilation calculations.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, electrical, and structural teams.
• Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site observations.
• Assess existing mechanical systems and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• WI PE license required; IL PE preferred.
• 10+ years of HVAC/mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• Healthcare project experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office required.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
