NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient phone triage role in Oswego, New York. This is a great opportunity for nurses looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a lower-acuity setting. Assignment Details
- Location: Oswego, NY
- Specialty: Outpatient / Primary Care
- Role Focus: Phone Triage
- Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
- Contract Length: 8-13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- EMR: Meditech
- On-Call: None
- Perform phone triage assessments and provide clinical guidance
- Respond to patient concerns and determine appropriate care level
- Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR
- Occasionally assist with:
- Rooming patients
- Administering injections
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
- Strong communication and triage skills
- Experience in outpatient, clinic, or primary care preferred
- Comfortable with phone-based patient interaction
- BLS (AHA) required
