Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work Monday through Friday from 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM. This position requires 3 years of experience in the operating room, but 2 years may be considered if the candidate has strong skills. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have strong general OR and robotics experience. The registered nurse will be responsible for a variety of surgical procedures. Experience with Da Vinci robotics is required. The nurse will adhere to established safety protocols, including Infection Control procedures. The position entails participation in on-call shifts, typically 5-6 calls every 4 weeks, including weekend rotations. The registered nurse must arrive within 30 minutes when called during on-call hours. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected to provide comprehensive patient care. The nurse will scrub and circulate during surgeries, managing patient care and assisting surgical teams effectively. Weekly schedule may include floating to sister campuses as needed. A focus on high-quality patient outcomes is essential. Continued education and certification compliance are necessary to maintain licensure and certification. The candidate should be comfortable working with adults and geriatric patients. A commitment to teamwork and adaptable skills in a high-pressure environment are crucial. Overall, the role requires excellent clinical and communication skills.
