Shifts: 3x12 hr shifts day/night rotating, weekends (Friday-Sunday) and holidays as scheduled

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Delivering direct patient care to pediatric patients in a 20-bed PICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2 for ICU and 1:3 for step-down care
• Managing sedation protocols and vasoactive drug titration in line with doctor's orders
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including in-house pediatricians and respiratory therapists
• Taking charge when necessary depending on staffing requirements
• Floating within children's departments such as L&D, NICU, and Acute Peds as required

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience
• COVID vaccine required (fully vaccinated)
