Headquartered in Houston, Texas - Wing Aviation is a boutique operation with broad reach and sound backing, and we operate with a world-class crew and a safety program second to none.Wing Aviation is seeking a Lead Pilot for a Gulfstream V - GV aircraft based in Houston, Texas.• Responsible for the safe operation of the GV aircraft.• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.• Complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.• Ensure the flight is conducted following the policies and procedures of Wing Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.• Accurately complete of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.Wing Aviation is an Equal Opportunity Employer. And the right balance of experience and expertise must extend beyond the cockpit and into every facet of our organization.QualificationsThe ideal candidate should be a standout colleague that strives for excellence in every aspect of their performance.Certifications and Licenses Required• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)• First Class Medical• Ratings: GV PICExperience Requirements• Airman Certificate: ATP• Ratings: Appropriate PIC Type Rating• Medical Certificate: First-Class, valid for ATP privileges• Total Flight Time: 3,500 (PIC)• Multi Engine Land: 1,500 (PIC)• Multi Engine PIC: 500 (PIC)• Instrument: 300 (PIC)• Turbine Engine: 500 (PIC)• Time in Type: 1000 (PIC)• Transatlantic experience requiredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities• Skilled at making proactive decisions• Ability to set priorities and stay organized• Ability to maintain a valid First-Class Medical certificate• Uphold a service standard in an evolving regulatory environment• Strong customer service skills• Knowledge of and ability to comply with the 14 CFR 91 and 14 CFR 135 Operations, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight and Equipment manuals as well as any other information required for each flight.Prefer local candidates with appropriate rating and currency.
