We anticipate multiple classroom teacher's aide openings for the 2026-27 academic school year. The ideal candidate has enthusiasm for working with students to support learning, is flexible, and has collaborative skills in working with the classroom teacher. Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the teacher, this position provides support to the teacher and assists in planning and implementing lesson plans, incorporating all component plans, and leading large and small groups of students; performs clerical/receptionist duties and other duties as assigned. The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out routine duties and responsibilities. Essential Job Responsibilities Assist faculty in classroom instruction, small group/individual tutoring, practice, and drill. Provide support in all areas of the classroom, maintaining a clean, safe, and cheerful environment. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with administration, students, their families, and volunteers; ensure all feel welcome. Be familiar with and perform duties according to established policies, procedures, and regulations as assigned. Perform supervisory duties as assigned. Maintain appropriate and accurate records. Assist Teacher with various projects as requested. Regular attendance and punctuality is essential. Other Position Responsibilities Comply with federal, state, and local safety laws. Maintain a neat and safe work area. Assist in the production of educational materials. Perform necessary clerical tasks, communication, and interface. Support in keeping a current inventory, including all supplies and equipment, and ordering supplies in advance to avoid shortages. Ensure all classroom equipment is operational. Reasoning Ability : Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Working Environment : Maintain all information in a highly confidential manner.
