Personal Injury Paralegal

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from investigation through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and experienced in managing personal injury files. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, capability of handling multiple deadlines, and a client-centered approach to case management. Key Responsibilities Manage personal injury cases from intake through litigation and resolution Obtain and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and related documentation Draft correspondence and legal documents Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and experts Review, summarize, and analyze medical records and case materials Prepare medical summaries, chronologies, and demand packages Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation Open, track, and manage subrogation and medical lien claims Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements when handling client information Coordinate with attorneys on strategy, case development, and deadlines Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in Personal Injury law Strong knowledge of personal injury case management Experience handling subrogation claims and medical liens Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience using Filevine, ChartSwap, and/or Ciox/Datavant Familiarity with West Virginia and Ohio personal injury procedures and insurance practices Paralegal certificate or relevant legal education (preferred but not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr The Stuckey Firm, LLC
