Nocturnist Physician | Internal Medicine/Med-Peds | Permanent | Nights Shift
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Med-Peds physician to join a well-established hospitalist program as a Nocturnist in Kenansville, North Carolina. This position offers a flexible night schedule, strong specialty support, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-quality inpatient team. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
Practice Details:
- Nocturnist hospitalist position
- Established Med-Peds hospitalist program with physician and APP support
- Community hospital setting with an open ICU model
- Tele-intensivist support available overnight
- Fully integrated EPIC EHR
- Schedule Options: Three 14-hour night shifts per week or Six 14-hour night shifts every other week
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Nighttime hospitalist coverage
- Average nightly admission volume of approximately 6 patients
- ICU responsibilities including ventilator management, lumbar punctures, and central line placement
- Collaboration with on-site and consulting specialty services
Specialty Support:
- General Surgery
- Cardiology
- Otolaryngology
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Gastroenterology
- Nephrology
- Ophthalmology
- Sleep Medicine
- Speech Therapy
- Physical Therapy
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Med-Peds
- Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
- Comfortable managing ICU-level patients with tele-intensivist support
