Speech Language Pathologist

Work Shift Primary days with possible weekends, evenings, or holidays (United States of America). Location Le Mars, IA. Worker Type Regular. Position Summary Speech Language Pathologist – full‑time position in the Speech Therapy Department with a pediatric focus. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients, with a focus on pediatric patients, while remaining cross‑trained in other areas as needed. Evaluate patients through selection, administration, and interpretation of formal and informal diagnostic assessments to determine levels of functioning and intervention needs, applying age‑specific knowledge for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics. Provide direct therapy services and plan therapy within each patient’s physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities, coordinating with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing care plans. Requirements Master’s degree from an accredited speech and language program. Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) or an active supervised clinical fellowship year (certification required within one year of employment). CPR certification and Mandatory Reporter training certificate; additional certifications are required as an employee. Availability for Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. hours.
