License: Central Sterile certification required
Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST
Must-Have: Candidates must have scope reprocessing experience. Candidates must have experience with EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscope. Candidates must have completed at least one travel placement. New travelers must have over 3 years of experience.
Description: Responsible for preparing sterile supplies such as sterile linen, trays, metal-wear basins, and equipment for use throughout the facility. Decontaminates, assembles, and sterilizes supplies. Makes deliveries as designated. Pulls surgical case carts for the operating room. Work requires a high school level of educational development.
