Compensation type: PT Faculty-Pay Based on PT Salary Schedule. New hire starting pay: The rate of pay is based on the required qualifications of this position. Position type: Regular/Continuing. Bargaining unit: MAHE. Job Summary Heavy Equipment Repair instructors must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills with heavy mobile equipment in a lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population. The ability to adjust instructional techniques as required by student’s learning style, maintain a positive learning environment, and collaborate with learners and peers in order to establish a positive and collaborative learning environment are very important. Basic computer skills are a must. Classes may be scheduled during daytime and/or evening hours. Open to current AIS Instructors only. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an industry-related field and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience; or
• Associate's Degree in heavy equipment repair with a minimum of five (5) years recent and relevant experience in the equipment industry; or
• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant industry experience;
• Current AIS Instructor
