RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the overall performance of the processing activities and employees within; including production output, quality, and regulatory compliance, driving lean initiatives and achieving set metrics
• Participates in lean daily management and supports relevant metrics and drivers for assigned areas
• Drives plant performance and predictability by establishing, maintaining, and cultivating relevant KPIs, goals, and expectations
• Responsible for employees inside the manufacturing environment, and tracks and trends actions related to adherence of company policy and work procedures
• Collaborates with multiple teams to ensure new product development goals are met
• Coordinates with planning, engineering, quality and other support functions to ensure production goals are met on-time
• Mentors and gives timely performance management feedback for direct staff and provides strong oversight for employees reporting under supervisory staff
• Understands and makes recommendations for materials, processes, procedures, and equipment within assigned areas to drive cost efficiency and improvement
• Ensures a continuous improvement safety culture that drives the assigned areas to achieve the goal of zero incidents
• Supports problem-solving activities and effective corrective actions in assigned areas
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field*

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• Experience working with Class III medical devices, preferred
• *Additional experience may substitute for education requirement

Safety: 

Physical Requirement 

• Move or lift objects up to 25 pounds
• Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays
• Frequent (>75% fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.)

Working Environment

• Onsite: Office environment with assigned workstation
• Remote positions only: Home office environment with minimum distractions
