Position Overview: The Clinical Associate is a critical field-based role responsible for providing direct clinical, technical, and educational support for the Cellvizio® system within assigned accounts. This position focuses on ensuring successful program launches, driving increased utilization, and helping physician users achieve mastery of the technology, ultimately contributing to deeper market penetration and sustained revenue growth. The Clinical Associate works closely with the Territory Manager (TM) and other internal teams to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize the value of Cellvizio®. The incumbent should ideally be based in the DC-Baltimore corridor, within close vicinity of an airport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide primary clinical training and education to new and existing customers, ensuring mastery of the Cellvizio® system and cellular pattern recognition. Deliver educational programs, product, and procedural competencies to expand user proficiency. Disseminate technical and clinical product information to customers. Assist in the development and execution of regional hospital staff training courses. Provide advanced clinical support during key promotional activities or complex procedures. Support Territory Managers in executing strategies to drive disposable usage and convert new users. Help ensure successful launches of new Cellvizio® programs, particularly during the critical initial onboarding phases. Identify and train new users at existing sites to increase active users and procedures performed. Build strong customer relationships by interfacing directly with physicians, OR/Endoscopy Unit/ASC staff, training, and research personnel. Technical & Field Support: Ensure seamless installation of Cellvizio® systems. Provide first-level troubleshooting and maintenance in collaboration with Customer Support. Perform product upgrades and preventive maintenance. Retrieve log files related to monitoring system usage. Act as a primary technical and clinical interface, representing the company at conferences, workshops, and demos. Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all field activities and relevant customer interactions. Inform appropriate internal teams (Marketing, Clinical, R&D) of specific problems during procedures. Comply with all company procedures, policies, and ethical guidelines. Attend all corporate and sales training to maintain clinical and technical competency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Clinical roles within GI. Endoscopy Technician or Registered Nurse (RN) background is a strong plus. Direct patient experience in a hospital setting is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Ability to quickly learn and utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other company tools (e.g., SAP Concur). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Curious, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

KEY CHALLENGES & PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Rapidly establishing new user proficiency and confidence with the Cellvizio® system. Driving consistent and increased Cellvizio® utilization across supported accounts. Effectively supporting multiple physicians and staff within a diverse clinical environment. Managing significant travel demands to meet account needs. Key Performance Indicators: New user training completion and proficiency. Procedure volume growth at supported accounts. Customer satisfaction and engagement levels. Timeliness and accuracy of field reporting. Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively via phone and in-person. Ability to see letters and numbers on computer screens and documents. Ability to stand/sit/walk for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours), potentially wearing a lead apron (~30lbs.). Ability to lift equipment up to 90lbs. Travel Requirements: This role requires significant travel, up to 80%. Air and car travel are required. Reporting Structure: Reports to the Sales Manager.
