Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Pay: $2,436.48 weekly

Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7pm 7am, 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population in an acute care setting. The suitable candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and excel in inter-professional communication and patient care planning, utilizing EPIC for electronic health records management.

Key Responsibilities of the RN Med Surg Travel

• Provide thorough assessments and develop care plans for patients
• Engage in inter-professional communication to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize EHR systems for documentation and patient information management
• Operate IV pumps, wound vacs, and other medical equipment
• Manage feeding tubes, chest tubes, heparin and insulin drips
• Perform IV therapy management and utilize telemetry monitoring

Requirements of the RN Med Surg Travel

• IN State or Compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA
• At least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2 or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of med-surg experience in a large hospital with 450+ beds
