Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and a minimum of 2+ years of ICU nursing experience.

Job Details

• Work in the ICU of a Level 1 trauma hospital setting,
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3,
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment,
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights),
• Uses Epic EMR system,
• Weekly start dates occur on Mondays,
• No floating or charge responsibilities required,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand,
• BLS-AHA certification required,
• ACLS-AHA and NIHSS certifications preferred,
• Minimum of 2+ years of ICU nursing experience required,
• Level 1 trauma experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Prior travel nursing experience required,
• Flu vaccination documentation required,

Additional Information

• Deliver critical care nursing services to ICU patients,
• Day one pass/fail testing will be administered, with Relias practice tests available for preparation,
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed,
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted,
• Any previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning,
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
