The position requires critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in delivering care.Job RequirementsEducation and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: RequiredAHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: RequiredAHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: RequiredEssential FunctionsCollect relevant health data pertinent to patients' situations.Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.Develop care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.Implement care plans, ensuring cohesive delivery of care and health promotion strategies.Evaluate patients' progress towards meeting health outcomes.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and compassionate environment.Provide educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members.Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate responsibilities of healthcare team members.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational RequirementsOur organization is committed to the health and safety of our associates and patients.
