Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Unarmed Patrol in Baytown TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access activities. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings processing areas access points and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity potential hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or permissions when required and report unauthorized persons vehicles and/or restricted area concerns according to post instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining detailed activity logs completing incident reports and reporting maintenance environmental and/or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
