What You'll Do

• Provide routine and complex endoscopy nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess patient and family education needs; provide appropriate education and support
• Float to other departments within Surgical Services as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety, legal, and hospital policies

What You Need

• RN license in the state of New Mexico or current compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience working in endoscopy or digestive health units
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
