Java Lead with SIS

Five to ten years with BA/BS OR three to five years with MA/MS OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Five years working experience leading and developing multi-user, database-driven web applications in n-tier enterprise java environmentsAbility to provide leadership to a team of technical and functional professionals.Experience with and detailed practical knowledge of relational data modeling, SQL programming and relational database management systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL or DB2.Experience with and detailed practical knowledge of Java frameworksExperience leading a small to medium sized software development team through an end-to-end implementation following a standard SDLC.Experience developing and implanting software development standards and practices.Experience leading and coordinating code and design review sessions.Three years of project management experience with Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies. Skills in development of written work plans and coordinating schedulesExperience implementing, supporting and maintaining large systems with a significant relational database component and complex technical architectureQuality assurance knowledge and experience in collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality.Experience with security of data and applications and familiarity with legislation, vulnerabilities, hacking strategies, encryption, and database securityExperience researching, evaluating, acquiring, configuring, implementing and operating vendor or community source systems and related interfaces to other systemsIn depth knowledge of application system development life cycleKnowledge of UNIX, Windows, and Internet security issuesOutstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
