Retail Planner

Core Responsibilities Retail Planning: Own a set subset of the LEGO® portfolio and perform the item level forecasting for consumer sales and shipments to secure the best possible availability. Demand Plan Consolidation: Consolidate the roll‑up of the demand plan for submission, accounting for sales actualisation alongside the impact of forward‑looking cycle‑on‑cycle changes. Reporting & Analysis: Analyse and understand drivers of plan performance with a focus on improving Item Mix Error, leveraging own reports in combination with BI produced insights to improve forward‑looking plan quality. Collaboration & Coherence: Ensure global collaboration and coherence with team members in other regions, presenting data and findings to secure a joint view on the best possible plan. General Support: Support the broader team with key monthly tasks, including updating standard reports and preparing slides for regular monthly meetings. Other/Ad Hoc: Participate in implementation of new tools and technology supporting the Retail Planning process, including ad‑hoc project tasks as required. Play your part in our team succeeding. The Retail Planning team is a global team based in Boston, Shanghai, London, and Billund, responsible for the 18‑month demand plan across LEGO® owned branded channels, both physical stores and online. Do you have what it takes Demonstrated strong collaboration skills across functions, cultures and management levels. Strong analytical perspective. Can oversee large amounts of data and draw out patterns and key messages. Process focused and systematic. Strong experience with generating and presenting PowerPoint decks and working with Excel; experience with other data visualisation platforms such as Tableau and/or Power BI. Result orientation and drive; winning/ "can‑do" approach and thrives in overcoming complex situations. Proven experience within the consumer goods industry. An ability to learn quickly and work autonomously. Advanced English both verbal and written. Nice to have Previous demand planning and/or supply planning experience. Experience within a supply chain environment and/or commercial environment. Skilled in collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Thrives in a global environment and with usage of online collaboration tools. Proactive and continuous improvement approach. Past experience working with O9 planning software. Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, mathematics or statistics, or demonstrable analytical skills developed through previous work experience. Additional details on this position Hybrid working model: 3 days in office, flexible remote work. No relocation assistance will be provided for this position. Compensation The salary for this position ranges from $84,488.00 to $126,732.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organisational constraints. Comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
