Nurse Manager - Hematology/Oncology Clinic

Role Overview The Nurse Manager is a leadership position responsible for the clinical and operational management of a hospital unit or service line. Key Responsibilities Manage daily clinical and environmental operations, develop and evaluate systems for quality and safety, and oversee staffing, budgets, and resource allocation. Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff, coordinate staff orientation, performance evaluations, and professional development. Implement performance improvement initiatives, address patient satisfaction feedback, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate communication with stakeholders, support strategic objectives, and promote a positive, patient-centered environment. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure in the state, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a Master's is preferred. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience (5+ preferred), with previous management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. Certification in clinical area and nursing leadership is desirable. Proficiency in electronic health records, data analysis, and performance improvement concepts.
