Pathologists' Assistant

Schedule: Days, 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, 5 days a week.

Assignment Details: Contract length not specified.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Pathologists' Assistant grossing experience.
• ASCP-PA certification required.
• Experience with Epic and Beaker charting systems required.
• Education from an NAACLS-accredited PA program or MD Pathologist with grossing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Gross examination and dissection of small biopsies and benign lesions.
• Selection of tissue for karyotyping and research.
• Occasional grossing of oncologic resections.

Compliance / Notes: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly after contract signing.
