Credentialed Medical Assistant, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics

Certified Medical AssistantWe are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities, and delivering high-quality patient care. Patient Care:- Assist healthcare providers in performing various medical procedures and examinations.- Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and medical history accurately.- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.- Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.2. Administrative Duties:- Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow within the medical facility.- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed.- Manage medical supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring availability and proper functioning.3. Clinical Support:- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.- Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests as required.- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.4.
