Machinist Job Details
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay Rate : $24.00-$26.00/hr
Location : Hamilton, OH
Machinist Requirements/Qualifications

• Resume and interview required.
  
• Background check and drug screen required.
  
• 7-15 years of experience making parts and molds on manual/CNC lathes and mills.
  
• Experience operating manual and CNC lathes.
  
• Experience operating manual and CNC mills.
  
• Experience making molds and tooling from engineering drawings.
  
• Ability to read drawings and build parts to print.
  
• Experience with MIG welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  
• Ability to read measuring instruments, including pi tape, tape measures, and micrometers.
  
• Basic math skills.
  
• Coaching and mentoring skills preferred.
  
• Strong team player with the ability to support cross-functional needs.
  
• Ability to communicate in oral and written English.
  
• Ability to work in a standing position and lift 50 lbs.
  
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Machine parts, molds, and tooling using manual and CNC mills and lathes.
  
• Machine parts from detailed engineering drawings.
  
• Build molds and tooling to specified requirements.
  
• Operate manual and CNC lathes and mills.
  
• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  
• Read measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
  
• Support maintenance of lathes and equipment.
  
• Make repair parts for lathes.
  
• Troubleshoot and creatively solve machining problems.
  
• Ensure products are produced according to prints and manufacturing processes.
  
• Provide input into product design to support cost-effective manufacturing.
  
• Coach and mentor other team members as needed.
