Data Analyst - Credit Card Portfolio Analytics

Join a high-performing analytics team focused on supporting Elan's credit card and payments portfolio. This role combines technical analytics, financial analysis, and business partnership responsibilities to help uncover actionable insights and drive strategic decisions. Responsibilities Acquire data from multiple sources, integrate large volumes of data, and perform analysis. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data to answer business questions and provide actionable recommendations. Interpret data using various statistical techniques and tools. Present data and analysis clearly and concisely, enabling quick understanding and data‑driven decision making. Collaborate with partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis. Measure and monitor the results of applied recommendations, presenting adjustments as needed. Ensure all data acquisition, sharing, and recommendation results are compliant with company standards. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience. Preferred Skills and Experience Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, and similar tools. Experience in advanced analytics, statistics, predictive modeling, and data visualization. Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI. Credit card, payments, or banking experience is a plus. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, charts). Strong analytic skills and the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Demonstrated project management skills. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Location Expectations This role is hybrid. Team members typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s) while having flexibility for the remaining days.
