Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary: The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing and validating direct mail job components before production to ensure accuracy, compliance, and client approval. This role plays a critical part in verifying data signoffs, reviewing vendor proofs, checking mailing specifications, and ensuring all production files meet internal standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in direct mail workflows, print production, and data-driven campaigns. Schedule:
- 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday - Saturday
- Ensure production files align with approved creative, client instructions, postal requirements, and job specifications.
- Examine proofs for accuracy in layout, personalization, imaging, barcodes, indicia, addressing, versioning, and mail piece specifications.
- Review mail piece dimensions, folds, inserts, package components, and finishing requirements for consistency with production plans.
- Confirm mail quantities are correct across the entire campaign as well as individual campaign production lots.
- Review print specification sheets for accuracy prior to being released into production.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements that reduce errors and improve turnaround times.
- Other functions as requested by management.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
