Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect III for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX. This is an 12+ month contract opportunity. Developer Experience is a growing department within the Global Technology division of our client, driving modernization of technology tools and processes. This role is on a Customer Enablement team focused on software development metrics at an enterprise scale, partnering across engineering and product to deliver trustworthy insights on velocity, WIP, lead time, commit cycle times, and release frequency. - Analyze operational, adoption, and governance metrics to identify trends, risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improved process effectiveness and compliance
- Transform large volumes of raw, complex data into meaningful reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready insights
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting solutions, including pivot tables, lookups, trend analysis, and data reconciliation
- Establish and execute repeatable governance controls, data quality assessments, sampling techniques, and exception management processes
- Monitor process adherence, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide reporting on policy, standards, and governance outcomes
- Partner with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to investigate and drive issue remediation
- Support audit, risk, and compliance activities through data analysis, documentation, and reporting
- Contribute to governance frameworks, data quality standards, control documentation, and reporting methodologies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, reconciliation techniques, trend analysis, and executive reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify meaningful insights
- Experience developing governance reporting, operational metrics, scorecards, and dashboards
- Hands-on SQL experience with Oracle databases, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
- Experience validating and reconciling data across multiple sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Knowledge of governance, risk management, controls, audit support, or process oversight functions within a large enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of process management principles, including documentation, compliance monitoring, and issue tracking
- Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira for work tracking and governance reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create concise reporting and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Experience supporting enterprise governance, risk, compliance, audit, or operational excellence initiatives
- Familiarity with data governance concepts including data lineage, stewardship, and data quality controls
- Experience building management reporting packages and executive presentations
- Knowledge of Power BI, including data model validation and report quality assurance
- Exposure to enterprise technology governance processes and software development lifecycle controls
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible Tower, or similar enterprise platforms
- Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or similar tools for reporting automation
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise datasets and performing cross-functional data reconciliation
- Access to hundreds of clients, most who have been working with Genesis10 for 5-20+ years.
