General Production Worker Mold Setter

Responsible for changing molds, setting up injection molding machines, and supporting production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.

Change molds between production runs following established procedures.

Set up and adjust injection molding machines for optimal performance.

Perform basic equipment maintenance and support preventive maintenance activities.

Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Troubleshoot machine and production issues and report quality or safety concerns.

Complete production documentation and data entry accurately.

Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment safely as needed.

Support continuous improvement, TPM, and EHS initiatives.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Manufacturing experience preferred; injection molding or mold-setting experience is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.

Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow safety procedures.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lafayette, IN.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
