Compensation Range: Base Salary of $75,000 - $85,000, plus commission

The Events division connects businesses, community leaders, and local residents through dynamic live and virtual experiences across New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Palm Beach, Florida. Our event portfolio—including the renowned Dan’s Taste series and Power Women series—delivers top-tier networking, culinary, and lifestyle events that drive business growth and offer high-value visibility for corporate sponsors to very specific audiences.

Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales Executive to focus on driving revenue through corporate sponsorships for Schneps Media events and Dan's Taste events across New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Palm Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate loves live events, possesses exceptional communication skills, and brings an unwavering work ethic to building long-term business partnerships.

In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting new corporate sponsors, attending industry events, and presenting integrated sponsorship opportunities directly to advertising agencies and corporate brand marketers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive corporate sponsorship sales for Schneps Media events and Dan’s Taste events across New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Palm Beach, FL.

• Identify, prospect, and close new corporate partners, brand sponsors, and regional clients.

• Build, present, and sell customized event sponsorship packages to decision-makers and advertising agencies.

• Meet and exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.

2. Client Presentation & Relationship Building

• Pitch advertising agencies, corporate brand marketers and business owners through compelling presentations, proposals, and meetings.

• Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key business leaders, agency contacts, and corporate partners.

• Serve as a consultative seller, aligning client marketing goals with customized event integrations and activations.

3. On-Site Representation & Networking

• Actively attend internal and industry events to build network contacts, generate leads, and represent the company brand.

• Work live events on-site as needed to engage with sponsors, ensure contractual activations are delivered, and identify future sales prospects.

• Travel within the region (NYC, Long Island) and periodically to Palm Beach, FL, to support event activations and high-value sales meetings.

4. Sales Operations & Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, lead tracking, and client account notes within the company database.

• Collaborate closely with event operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of sponsored event deliverables.

• Gather client feedback post-event to create detailed recap materials and secure sponsorship renewals.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in B2B media sales, event sponsorship sales, advertising agency sales, business development, or brand ambassador.

• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated confidence pitching to advertising agencies and corporate executives.

• Event Passion: Genuine enthusiasm and love for live events, networking, culinary festivals, and community gatherings.

• Work Ethic: High-energy self-starter with strong organization, time-management, and lead-generation skills.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and/or Palm Beach media, marketing, and business landscapes.

• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to attend evening events, industry gatherings, and travel as needed within New York and to Palm Beach, FL.
