We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking an OR RN Circulator to join our family. 

The OR RN Circulator is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The OR RN Circulator is a resource person and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel. The staff member can expect to care for adult and pediatric patients. The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.

Required Skills

Required Skills for the OR RN Circulator:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• MINIMUM ONE YEAR PREVIOUS OR EXPERIENCE
• Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
• Certified in BLS
• Certified in ACLS 
• Certified in PALS 
• Certified CNOR – preferred
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
• Possess good communication skills
