Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust backend applications using Java 17 and related technologies
  • Build and maintain RESTful web services for enterprise-scale applications
  • Implement solutions using AWS services including IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and KMS
  • Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Apply DevOps practices to ensure high availability and reliable system solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to distributed development teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • 11+ years of experience designing and developing software applications in Java
  • Minimum 3+ years leading geographically dispersed technical teams
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17 and backend development practices
  • Experience building RESTful web services and working with relational databases
  • Knowledge of AWS services including IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and KMS
  • DevOps experience and understanding of high availability solutions
  • Some architecture experience preferred
  • Python experience is a plus
