Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Rotating weekends (most Saturdays off)
About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy caregiver to provide in-home assistance for an adult. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is reliable, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in providing quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Drive to medical appointments, errands, and community outings
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying, etc.)
- Meal preparation and light cooking
- Grocery shopping and other errands as needed
- Assist with some lifting and mobility support
- Provide companionship while maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Comfortable with some lifting and mobility assistance
- Kind, patient, and compassionate
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to complete all required paperwork and pass any necessary background checks to be eligible for payment through the Illinois Medicaid Home Services Program
