Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the individual needs of clients and establish appropriate therapy goals.

  • Maintain ongoing communication among supervisors, families, and other stakeholders regarding clients' progress and treatment plans.

  • Provide structured schedules for appointments and home visits, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.

  • Conduct home visits as required, performing in-home assessments to collect data that informs treatment and care plans.

  • Monitor the implementation of therapy strategies to ensure they are effective and in alignment with best practices.

  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and updates on client care and treatment efficacy.

  • Complete regular progress notes, documenting patient developments and outcomes in alignment with regulatory standards.

  • Facilitate training sessions for staff to ensure competence in delivering therapeutic services and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Engage in follow-up communications and visits to provide ongoing support, adapting strategies as necessary to meet client needs.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the wider mental health community, helping to foster supportive networks and resources.

  • Contribute to the development of training materials and program documentation to enhance service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Clients may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise in specialized areas, such as family therapy or trauma-informed care, will be instrumental in providing the tailored support that our clients need to thrive.

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is mandatory.

  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, preferably within a mental health or community health setting.

  • Strong background or specialization in areas such as couples counseling, family therapy, substance use treatment, or trauma is highly desirable.
