Staff Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Unit Schedule Day shift, 8 hours, variable schedule. Mostly 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. Job Description The Staff RN for the Outpatient Infusion Unit will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing infusion treatment. Key responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, blood products, and other treatments in a fast-paced environment while utilizing technology and medical equipment proficiently. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient\'s responses to treatments. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC software. Coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize Omnicell and Ascom technology for medication management and communication. Operate infusion equipment such as Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum one year of experience in outpatient infusion. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Chemotherapy certification required. Setting Acute Care City Utica State NY
