Responsible for assisting with various procedures including joint replacements, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The OR Nurse ensures patient safety, maintains sterile technique, and collaborates with surgical teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Job Details Position Description: Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care during surgical procedures in a 29-bed operating room unit. The role includes scrub and circulator responsibilities across multiple service lines, with rotating weekends and on-call duties in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting, with expertise in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement surgeries. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Education qualifications include a relevant nursing degree, and candidates must be able to scrub and circulate. Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification, CNOR certification, and charge nurse experience are highly desirable. Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning 09/14/2026 and ending 12/14/2026. Additional Information: The position requires a dedicated, reliable, and proficient professional with excellent bedside manner and critical thinking skills. The nurse will work in a comprehensive stroke facility with a diverse array of surgical procedures, including joint replacement, ENT, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgeries.
