Support Team Member for Medical Billing

The Support Team Member for Medical Billing is truly a team-based role. Team Members share and alternate in-house duties to provide consistent workflow for our Medical Billing Teams and Accounting.

Support Team Members will handle tasks including, but not limited to the following:

• Upload of electronic charge and payment files to company's billing system for processing
• Batching and reconciliation of charges for billing
• Retrieving medical records
• Sorting and distributing incoming mail

Requirements

• Reliability in daily attendance
• Proven ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting columns, copying and pasting data, formatting cells, and other basic spreadsheet functions.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written process sheets and procedures.
• Comfortable working with multiple applications and software programs simultaneously.
• Demonstrates a team-oriented mindset and a willingness to assist with any task needed to help the team meet deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to prioritize work and consistently meet established deadlines.
• Proactively communicates with supervisors when workload challenges may impact deadlines or productivity.
• Seeks clarification and asks questions to ensure a thorough understanding of processes, tasks, and expectations.
• Maintains attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple responsibilities.
