Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager – NYC

Growing environmental consulting firm is seeking an Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager for its NYC office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced environmental professional with strong Phase I/II ESA, site investigation, remediation, and project management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental remediation and site investigation projects
• Perform and oversee Phase I/II ESAs, sampling, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory documentation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and subcontractors
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of environmental consulting/remediation experience
• Strong Phase I/II ESA and subsurface investigation experience
• Experience with NY environmental regulations and regulatory agencies preferred
• Strong technical writing and project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
• NYC-area experience preferred

Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote / 3 days in the NYC office.
