Support Payroll Operations and Employee Care in Fort Worth, TX We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Clerk to join our growing team in Fort Worth! This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring timely and compliant processing of employee compensation. Your Impact as a Payroll Clerk In this role, you will:
- Maintain Payroll Records: Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and on schedule.
- Update Employee Info: Enter changes related to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department transfers.
- Generate Reports: Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
- Calculate Liabilities: Determine payroll liabilities, including employee federal and state income tax, Social Security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
- Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and professionally.
- Support Employees: Provide accurate payroll information and respond to questions and requests.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow company payroll procedures and report any necessary updates or policy changes.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Protect sensitive payroll information and uphold privacy standards.
- Assist with Requests: Process employment verification and garnishment documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with Team: Contribute to the department's success by supporting broader payroll goals.
