Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel RN in the Operating Room (OR) for a 13‑week assignment in Kyle, Texas. Responsibilities The OR RN provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile field. Assist in positioning patients and providing necessary instruments and supplies. Monitor patient conditions during surgery and document changes. Handle surgical instruments, specimen collection, labeling, and disposal. Collaborate with surgical team and adhere to facility policies and infection control protocols. Participate in patient handoff communication and post‑operative phases. Assist in cleaning and restocking the OR between cases. Follow safety rules, use PPE, and perform other duties as assigned.
