Portfolio Manager - Remote

A client with Kforce is seeking an Engineering Project Manager/Portfolio Manager to join their team. This opportunity is remote during the contract period then will move to a hybrid/office occasional schedule to go onsite as needed near any of the client's hub locations including ATL, GA; JAX, St. Pete, FL. Summary: The role requires someone comfortable operating across multiple workstreams, bringing structure to complex initiatives, and helping teams move priorities forward. This role will support engineering delivery and execution across multiple initiatives within the client. They will partner closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive technical initiatives from planning through execution. The candidate will also contribute to delivery management, technical coordination, execution tracking, and operational problem solving across engineering programs. This person will be operating as more of an analyst. They are client facing; they have a lot of 3rd party vendors that they are offboarding or building capabilities in house.

• Won't be hands to keyboard in the code but they will be enabling the engineering to buy new tooling, working with finance partners
• Looking for someone who is proactive and can problem solve
• AWS, GitHub, Confluence, Vizio, Terraform/Cloud - vendors this person will be working with

• Experience working in large-scale engineering organizations
• Technical program management exposure
• Familiarity with engineering collaboration tools (Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)
