Architect Residential Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Residential Designer to join our team and help bring exceptional homes and communities from concept to reality. This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional who combines creativity with a strong understanding of residential construction and enjoys seeing their ideas come to life.

In this role, you'll work closely with internal teams and customers throughout the design process, developing thoughtful residential designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, construction requirements, and customer needs.

What You'll Do

Develop and refine residential home and community designs from initial concepts through the design process.

Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and design documentation.

Apply strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building practices, and architectural principles.

Collaborate with customers to understand their vision, preferences, and needs and translate them into functional, appealing designs.

Partner with internal teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

Review and revise designs based on customer feedback, project requirements, and construction considerations.

Utilize industry-standard design software to produce high-quality drawings and presentations.

What We're Looking For

Experience designing residential homes and/or residential communities.

Strong understanding of residential construction and architectural principles.

Proficiency with industry-standard architectural and design software.

Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers throughout the design process.
