Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU setting following 2:1 patient ratios.
• Utilize GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis for medication management.
• Manage advanced procedures including ventilator and sedation management.
• Participate in procedures such as tracheotomy placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion.
• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers as needed.
• Comply with documentation using the Meditech system and adhere to AIDET patient communication standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience in a hospital setting required.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Ability to manage medication titration and ventilation setups.
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work every other weekend as per scheduling requirements.
