K-12 School-Based SLP ARD & Therapy Specialist

Job Description Calling on Speech‑Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows and ASHA‑certified candidates) based in the north suburbs of Houston, TX, and who would like to work in a school setting! Soliant has partnered with a large school district and is seeking contract Speech‑Language Pathologist to support K‑12 populations with a range of speech needs. Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives. Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or munications Disorders Texas Speech‑Language Pathology License As a school‑based SLP, you will: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs. Participate in ARD(Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meeting to determine student eligibility. Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders. Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations. Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns. Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload. Provide reports of a students progress to parents. Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school. Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
